John James (c. 1610 – May 1681) foi um político inglês que ocupou uma cadeira na Câmara dos Comuns em 1653. Ele serviu no exército Parlamentar na Guerra Civil Inglesa.
Biography
James era filho de John James de Astley, Worcestershire, e de sua esposa Mary Winford, filha de Walter Winford. Tornou-se um defensor da causa Parlamentar e serviu no exército. Em 19 de abril de 1647, o Committee of both Kingdoms ordenou que '"Capt. James shall have power to seize upon and recruit his troop out of such horses as are the State's, marked with the State's mark, and have been embezled and sold away to any persons in cos. Bucks, Berks, and Oxon."
