John Stratton

John Wilson Stratton (7 November 1925 – 25 October 1991) foi um ator britânico, nascido em Clitheroe, Lancashire, onde mantinha sua residência permanente. Ele é talvez mais conhecido por seus primeiros papéis no cinema durante os anos cinquenta, onde interpretou os jovens aprendizes Ferraby e Ward, contracenando com Jack Hawkins em The Cruel Sea (1953) e The Long Arm (1956), respectivamente. Ele fez um papel semelhante na televisão no terceiro seriado de Quatermass, Quatermass and the Pit, interpretando o papel de Captain Potter, em oposição ao Professor Bernard Quatermass de André Morell. Mais velho e menos jovial nos anos sessenta, ele se destacou como ator coadjuvante de alguma versatilidade, interpretando inúmeros papéis em muitos programas de televisão da década, incluindo o papel do jornalista alcoólatra Fred Blane em It's Dark Outside.
