John Weeks Moore (11 April 1807 – 1889) fue un editor estadounidense de publicaciones musicales. También fue autor de una obra histórica sobre la esclavitud y la política gubernamental temprana
Biografía
Nacido en 1807 en Andover, New Hampshire, Moore era hijo de Jacob Bailey Moore. Fue educado en Concord High School y Plymouth Academy, se convirtió en impresor y estuvo conectado con varios diarios. En 1834 estableció el primer periódico musical en New Hampshire, y posteriormente editó The World of Music, un cuarto, The Musical Library, un folio, y el Daily News.
