John Wyndham Parkes Lucas Beynon Harris fue un escritor de ciencia ficción inglés mejor conocido por sus obras publicadas bajo el seudónimo John Wyndham, aunque también usó otras combinaciones de sus nombres, como John Beynon y Lucas Parkes. Algunas de sus obras se ambientaron en paisajes postapocalípticos. Sus obras más conocidas incluyen The Day of the Triffids (1951), filmada en 1962, y The Midwich Cuckoos (1957), que fue filmada en 1960 como Village of the Damned, en 1995 bajo el mismo título, y nuevamente en 2022 en Sky Max bajo su título original.
