A canção foi escrita pelos membros da banda David Glasper e Marcus Lillington. Em seu lançamento inicial, o single não conseguiu entrar nas paradas no Reino Unido ou nos Estados Unidos. Após a edição inicial de Jonah em forma editada como single, a versão completa de 4:49 foi incluída no álbum de estreia da banda All That Jazz, lançado em agosto de 1987.
