Joseph Wilhelm Ernst, Prince of Fürstenberg was a prince of Fürstenberg-Fürstenberg who changed his residence to Donaueschingen, at the head of the Danube, and thus converted the existing settlement into a town and constructed Schloss Donaueschingen.
