Kalinga é uma região histórica da Índia. Geralmente é definida como a região costeira oriental entre os rios Ganges e Godavari, embora seus limites tenham flutuado com o território de seus governantes. O território central de Kalinga agora abrange todo o Odisha e parte do norte de Andhra Pradesh. Em sua maior extensão, a região de Kalinga também incluía partes do atual Chhattisgarh, estendendo-se até Amarkantak no oeste. No período antigo, estendia-se até a margem do rio Ganges.
