The municipality lies at an altitude of 154 metres (505 ft) and covers an area of 9.92 km2 (3.83 sq mi) (2025).

Population

It has a population of 796 people (31 December 2025).

In year 2021 was 839 people by ethnicity 810 as Slovak, 28 as Not found out, 4 as Czech, 3 as Hungarian, 2 as Ukrainian, 2 as Rusyn and 2 as Other.
