Resumen

Kidnapped es una película de aventuras muda estadounidense de 1917 dirigida por Alan Crosland para Edison Studios. Se basó en la novela de 1886 Kidnapped de Robert Louis Stevenson. La película solo incluyó partes seleccionadas de la historia y reforzó la entonces incipiente romantización de las Tierras Altas de Escocia. Previamente considerada perdida, una copia de la película se conserva en la colección de la Biblioteca del Congreso, con un DVD de 2017 de la película lanzado con la ayuda de la Biblioteca del Congreso y financiamiento colectivo.
