Leeds é uma cidade em West Yorkshire, Inglaterra. É o maior assentamento em Yorkshire e o centro administrativo do City of Leeds Metropolitan Borough, que é o segundo distrito mais populoso do Reino Unido. É construída em torno do Rio Aire e está nos contrafortes orientais dos Peninos. A cidade era um pequeno borough senhorial no século 13 e uma cidade de mercado no século 16. Leeds expandiu nos séculos 17 e 18 ao se tornar um importante centro de produção e comércio. Foi agraciada com uma carta de cidade em 1893 pela Rainha Vitória.
