En la mitología griega, Linus puede referirse a los siguientes personajes:MaleLinus, un príncipe arcadio como uno de los 50 hijos del impío Rey Lycaon, ya sea por la náyade Cyllene, Nonacris o Pausanias. Estos hermanos mezclaron las entrañas de un niño en la comida de Zeus, tras lo cual el dios enfurecido arrojó la comida sobre la mesa. Linus fue asesinado, junto con sus hermanos y su padre, por un rayo lanzado por Zeus.
