Malý Krtíš (Hungarian: Kiskürtös) is a village and municipality in the Veľký Krtíš District of the Banská Bystrica Region of southern Slovakia.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 173 metres (568 ft) and covers an area of 5.40 km2 (2.08 sq mi) (2025).
Population
It has a population of 455 people (31 December 2025).

In year 2021 was 490 people by ethnicity 470 as Slovak, 15 as Not found out, 9 as Hungarian, 4 as Romani, 3 as French, 2 as Czech and 1 as Italian.
