Golden Knights Extend Captain Mark Stone Through 2029
The Vegas Golden Knights signed captain Mark Stone to a two-year, $9 million-per-season extension through the 2028-29 season, effective after this year, continuing his leadership role despite a slight pay cut from his current deal. The 34-year-old winger, coming off a career-high 73-point season and known for his defense and playoff leadership, remains a central figure as the team aims for another championship with a healthier roster and core stars like Jack Eichel and Mitch Marner in mind.
