Fazlullah Hayat was an Islamist jihadist militant who served as the third emir of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) from 2013 until his death in 2018. He was also the leader of the Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Shariat-e-Mohammadi. He became the emir of the TTP in 2013, and presided over the descent of the group into factions who are often at conflict with each other.
