Medição é a quantificação de atributos de um objeto ou evento, que pode ser usada para comparar com outros objetos ou eventos. Em outras palavras, medição é um processo de determinar quão grande ou pequeno uma quantidade física é em comparação com uma quantidade de referência básica do mesmo tipo.
