About Melody

MS Melody fue un crucero, anteriormente propiedad y operado por MSC Cruises. Fue construido en 1982 por el astillero CNIM en La Seyne, Francia para Home Lines como Atlantic. Entre 1988 y 1997 navegó para Premier Cruise Line como StarShip Atlantic. En 1997, el buque entró en servicio para MSC Cruises como Melody. En 2009 repeló un ataque pirata frente a Seychelles. Terminó su carrera como barco de alojamiento Qing, durante el cual se hundió en una tormenta en su atraque, y fue desguazado en 2019.
