Michael F. Bird (nascido em 18 de novembro de 1974, Paderborn, West Germany) é um padre anglicano australiano, teólogo e estudioso do Novo Testamento.
Biografia
Em sua adolescência, Bird era ateu e via o Cristianismo, "como uma forma de oprimir as pessoas, uma construção puramente humana". Após se tornar cristão, ele foi batista, presbiteriano e (mais recentemente) anglicano. Recentemente, foi chamado pela plataforma de mídia ecumênica Eternity de "heavy hitter" no mundo da erudição do Novo Testamento e da divindade de Jesus.
Bird é Decano Acadêmico e professor na Ridley College, tendo lecionado anteriormente na Brisbane School of Theology e na Highland Theological College. Ele estudou no Malyon College e na University of Queensland. Ele também é Distinguished Research Professor of Theology na Houston Baptist University.
