Obituary é uma banda americana de death metal, formada em Tampa, Florida em 1984. Inicialmente chamada Executioner, eles foram um dos atos fundamentais no desenvolvimento do gênero death metal, e são uma das bandas mais bem-sucedidas do gênero de todos os tempos. Obituary lançou onze álbuns de estúdio e, com a exceção de um hiato de cinco anos de 1998 a 2003, eles continuam a se apresentar ao vivo.
