Pat McAfee Announces $1 Million Iowa Hospital Donation
Pat McAfee will donate $1 million to the University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children’s Hospital after criticism over initially making the donation conditional on a College GameDay field-goal challenge; when the student missed, he had offered $150,000 after a separate challenge. McAfee said critics were right and that his visit with patients and families had moved him, adding that his show plans to work with the hospital in the future.
