Join the roomPatrick Joseph McGoohan fue un actor, director, productor y escritor irlandés-estadounidense de cine, televisión y teatro. Nacido en Nueva York de padres irlandeses, se crió en Irlanda y el Reino Unido. Comenzó su carrera en Gran Bretaña durante la década de 1950 y se hizo bien conocido por el papel titular de agente secreto John Drake en el programa de espionaje de ITC Danger Man (1960–68). Luego creó y produjo la serie surrealista de ITV The Prisoner (1967–68), en la que protagonizó como ex agente de inteligencia británico Number Six.
