Um pó é um sólido seco composto por muitas partículas muito finas que podem fluir livremente quando sacudido ou inclinado. Os pós são uma subclasse especial de materiais granulares, embora os termos pó e granular sejam às vezes usados para distinguir classes separadas de material. Em particular, os pós se referem àqueles materiais granulares que possuem tamanhos de grão mais finos e que, portanto, têm uma maior tendência a formar grumos quando fluem.
