Rabbit fueron una banda de glam rock australiana de Newcastle, que se formó en 1973 por Jim Porteus en bajo, Phil Screen en batería y Mark Tinson en guitarra y voz. En octubre de 1974 se les unió Dave Evans (ex-AC/DC) en voz principal. El grupo se mudó a Sydney y lanzó dos álbumes, Rabbit (1975) y Too Much Rock n Roll (1976), antes de disolverse a fines de 1977. Porteus, Screen y Tinson regresaron a Newcastle donde formaron una banda de hard rock, Heroes, con Peter de Jong en guitarra y voz. Lanzaron un álbum homónimo en octubre de 1980 y se disolvieron en 1982.
