Coelhos, ou coelhinhos, são pequenos mamíferos da família Leporidae, que está na ordem Lagomorpha. Eles são conhecidos em todo o mundo como um pequeno herbívoro, um animal de presa, uma forma domesticada de gado e um animal de estimação, tendo um efeito generalizado nas ecologias e culturas. Os gêneros de coelhos mais difundidos são Oryctolagus e Sylvilagus. O primeiro, Oryctolagus, inclui o coelho europeu, Oryctolagus cuniculus, que é o ancestral das centenas de raças de coelho doméstico e foi introduzido em todos os continentes, exceto a Antártica. O último, Sylvilagus, inclui mais de 13 espécies de coelhos selvagens, entre elas os cottontails e tapetis.
