Overview

Riize (; stylized in all caps; pronounced "Rise") is a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment. The group consists of seven members: Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee, and Anton. Name The group's name, Riize, is a name created by combining "Rise", which means "growth", and "Realize", which means "a team that grows together and realizes dreams". Career 2020–2023: Pre-debut activities Members Shotaro and Sungchan previously debuted in SM's boy group, NCT, being unveiled as part of the lineup in October 2020. On July 1, 2022, SM Entertainment introduced Eunseok and Seunghan as part of their SM Rookies lineup. In November 2022, it was announced that they would star in the reality show Welcome to NCT Universe, hosted by Shotaro and Sungchan.
