Samuel Gregson (1793–1865) fue un comerciante, político y filántropo británico del siglo XIX.
Hijo mayor de Samuel Gregson (1762–1846), gerente de la Lancaster Canal Company, obtuvo una beca para la Lancaster Royal Grammar School. En Londres fue presidente de la East India and China Trading Association y un comerciante de productos básicos.
Tras establecer un exitoso negocio de comercio, Gregson heredó tierras en Lancashire y también derechos señoriales y propiedades en Cheshire a través del matrimonio. Él predominantemente, y su familia proporcionaron la tierra y los recursos financieros para construir Christ Church, Lancaster.
Gregson fue cofundador del Natural History Museum.
