Samuel Johnson "John" Howard was the eighth bishop of the Diocese of Florida in the U.S. Episcopal Church. Howard was elected bishop coadjutor on May 16, 2003, and entered office on January 29, 2004. He retired on October 31, 2023. He was released from ordained ministry in the Episcopal Church in 2025.
