Una escuela es una institución educativa diseñada para proporcionar entornos de aprendizaje para la enseñanza de estudiantes, generalmente bajo la dirección de profesores. La mayoría de los países tienen sistemas de educación formal, que a veces es obligatoria. En estos sistemas, los estudiantes progresan a través de una serie de escuelas que pueden ser construidas y operadas tanto por organizaciones gubernamentales como privadas.
