Scott es un cráter de impacto lunar cerca del polo sur de la Luna. Su ubicación cerca del limbo lunar dificulta la observación, tanto por el acortamiento del cráter visto desde la Tierra como por la limitada luz solar que ingresa en la cuenca. El extremo norte de este cráter está en una oscuridad casi perpetua, y no ha sido mapeado en detalle. Scott se encuentra entre el cráter de tamaño similar Amundsen al sureste y Schomberger al noroeste. Justo al noreste se encuentra el cráter Demonax.
