Shadows es el noveno álbum de estudio de la banda escocesa de rock alternativo Teenage Fanclub, lanzado el 31 de mayo de 2010 en el propio sello PeMa de la banda en Europa y en Merge Records en América del Norte. Es el primer lanzamiento de un nuevo álbum de la banda en cinco años. El álbum contiene doce canciones: cuatro escritas por Gerard Love, cuatro por Norman Blake y cuatro por Raymond McGinley. "Baby Lee" de Blake fue lanzada como sencillo. Las notas del álbum acreditan a David McGowan como miembro, y ha sido un integrante constante de las giras desde 2004, tocando teclados, guitarras adicionales y la guitarra slide. Grabación La brecha de cinco años entre Shadows y el álbum anterior de la banda Man-Made no fue completamente intencional, según el guitarrista Raymond McGinley: "Decidimos tomarnos un tiempo antes de grabar algo para hacer otras cosas por un tiempo, individualmente, y eso terminó siendo mucho más largo de lo que planeamos inicialmente."
