Brigadier-General Sir Charles Hotham, 5th Baronet, of South Dalton, Yorkshire, was a British Army officer and politician who sat in the House of Commons between 1723 and 1738. He was entrusted by King George II with the task of negotiating a double marriage between the Hanover and Hohenzollern dynasties.
