Soraia Chaves (born Lisbon, June 22, 1982) is a Portuguese actress and model. She became famous with the role of Amélia in the film O Crime do Padre Amaro and the role of Maria in her next film, Call Girl. She also played the role of Raquel in Dancing Days, a 2012-13 soap opera broadcast on the Portuguese television network SIC. She also starred in the film Real Playing Game.

Biography
In 1997, at the age of 15, she won the "Elite Model Look Portugal" contest, which launched her career in the fashion world; she worked as a model for 12 years.
She made her acting debut in the lead role of Amélia in the film O Crime do Padre Amaro (2005). Her performance in the film—a major success in Portugal—brought her immediate fame and drew national attention to the former model. In 2006, she appeared in the SIC series Aqui não Há Quem Viva. That same year, she made a guest appearance in the telenovela Jura.
She won the Golden Globe (Portugal) for Best Film Actress in 2007 for her performance in the film Call Girl by António-Pedro Vasconcelos.
After 2007, she continued her acting career in Portuguese film and television, although she lived in Madrid for three years to study acting. She appeared in the miniseries Barcelona, Ciutat Neutral, a production Spanish.
In 2009, she appeared in A Vida Privada de Salazar, earning the GDA Foundation (Artists' Rights Management Cooperative) Film Actors Award alongside Virgílio Castelo.
In 2010, she worked with António-Pedro Vasconcelos again on the film A Bela e o Paparazzo.
In 2012, she joined the cast of the series Perdidamente Florbela—based on the film by Vicente Alves do Ó—playing the mother of Florbela Espanca; that same year, she attended the Venice Film Festival to promote the Portuguese-French co-production Linhas de Wellington.
In 2015, Soraia Chaves also ventured into voice acting, voicing "Scarlet," the villain in the film Minions.
In 2016, she appeared in the Brazilian film Vermelho Russo, which was shot in Russia.
