"Starman" é uma canção do músico inglês David Bowie. Foi lançada em 28 de abril de 1972 pela RCA Records como o single principal de seu quinto álbum de estúdio The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. Co-produzida por Ken Scott, Bowie gravou a canção em 4 de fevereiro de 1972 no Trident Studios em Londres com sua banda de apoio conhecida como the Spiders from Mars – composta pelo guitarrista Mick Ronson, baixista Trevor Bolder e baterista Mick Woodmansey. A canção foi uma adição tardia ao álbum, escrita como uma resposta direta ao pedido da RCA por um single; substituiu a versão de Chuck Berry "Round and Round" no álbum.
