Stephen Davis é um jornalista musical americano.
Davis nasceu em New York City e frequentou Boston University. Ele começou sua carreira escrevendo para o Boston Phoenix em 1970. Seu jornalismo apareceu em Rolling Stone, The New York Times, o Boston Globe e em vários outros jornais e revistas.
