O centro da cidade está localizado a uma altitude de 2,655 metres (8,711 ft) no Altiplano Cundiboyacense a 130 kilometres (81 mi) da capital Bogotá. Susa faz fronteira com Simijaca, Fúquene, San Miguel de Sema e Lake Fúquene.
