About Tarō Asō

Tarō Asō es un político japonés que se desempeñó como primer ministro de Japón de 2008 a 2009. Miembro del Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), también se desempeñó como viceprimer ministro y ministro de Finanzas de 2012 a 2021. Fue el viceprimer ministro y ministro de Finanzas con más años de servicio en la historia de Japón, habiendo servido previamente como ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de 2005 a 2007 y como ministro del Interior y Comunicaciones de 2003 a 2005. Lidera la facción Shikōkai dentro del LDP.
