Resumen

Television es el tercer y último álbum de la banda de rock estadounidense Television. Fue lanzado en 1992, 14 años después del segundo álbum de estudio de la banda y su posterior separación en 1978. Se filmó un video para "Call Mr. Lee" que se emitió brevemente en MTV. Recepción Television ha sido generalmente bien recibida por los críticos. El crítico de rock Robert Christgau escribió: "Prefiero la Television más roquera y melódica de antes, pero es un tributo al inquieto concepto y a la fuerza de personalidad de Tom Verlaine que en un mundo donde la guitarra alternativa significa hacer ruido o mezclar y combinar de los contenedores usados, estos cuatro veteranos se han reagrupado con una nueva identidad sonora distinta. Ingeniosos, cálidos, sofisticados, crípticos, jazzy pero no parecidos al jazz, no suenan como nada más, salvo un poco como la Television antigua".
