Visão geral
Na mitologia grega, Thasus ou Thasos ( ou ; Grego Antigo: Θάσος) era um filho de Poseidon (ou, em outras versões, Agenor, Phoenix ou Cilix). Nas histórias, ele era um príncipe fenício e um daqueles que partiram da Fenícia em busca de Europa (irmã de Thasus). Seu irmão, Cadmus, deu-lhe uma parte do exército e o deixou em uma ilha (ou seja, Thasos) onde ele "fundou" a cidade epônima de Thasos.
