The Instigators

The Instigators is an upcoming American heist thriller film directed by Doug Liman, written by Chuck Maclean and Casey Affleck, and starring Affleck and Matt Damon, who also produces the film alongside Ben Affleck under their production company Artists Equity for distribution by Apple TV+ under Apple Original Films. Premise A botched robbery causes the two thieves to go on the run, dragging along one of their therapists in the process. Damon will also produce alongside Ben Affleck under their Artists Equity production company. In February 2023, Hong Chau joined the cast, with Paul Walter Hauser, Michael Stuhlbarg, Ving Rhames, Alfred Molina and Ron Perlman joining the following month. Jack Harlow would be added to the cast in April.
