Star Group earned a Lower Risk rating because it largely avoids embracing politically divisive corporate activism, cancellation campaigns, and discriminatory philanthropy, focusing instead on merit-based business practices. While most rating criteria such as cancellations, discriminatory philanthropy, advocacy bias, and funding show lower risk, its employment protection practices were flagged as medium risk, slightly tempering the otherwise favorable assessment.
