En medicina, el triaje es un proceso mediante el cual los proveedores de atención, como los profesionales médicos y aquellos con conocimientos de primeros auxilios, determinan el orden de prioridad para proporcionar tratamiento a las personas lesionadas y/o informan el racionamiento de suministros limitados para que lleguen a quienes más se puedan beneficiar de ello. El triaje se suele utilizar cuando hay más personas lesionadas que proveedores de atención disponibles o cuando hay más personas lesionadas que suministros para tratarlas.
