A Louisiana judge granted RJ Luis Jr. a preliminary injunction allowing him to play for LSU in the 2026-27 season after challenging the NCAA’s eligibility ban tied to his two-way contract with the Utah Jazz. Luis, the 2024-25 Big East Player of the Year at St. John’s who went undrafted in 2025, would join LSU’s roster under coach Will Wade amid ongoing NCAA-SEC disputes over college eligibility rules.
