Almirante Sir William Penn foi um oficial naval e político inglês que representou Weymouth e Melcombe Regis na Câmara dos Comuns da Inglaterra de 1660 a 1670. Seu filho William Penn, o fundador da Província da Pensilvânia, nomeou a colônia em sua homenagem.
