Lara Trump, a senior campaign adviser and wife of President Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump, appeared on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” Wednesday to respond to the Super Tuesday results.
When it came to discussing 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden, she said she believes “he is going to be in for a rude awakening.”
She continued on to say, “If you’re a Democrat in this country, your choice right now looks to be a socialist who is a communist sympathizer or Joe Biden who I think a lot of folks legitimately question his cognitive function in many cases.”

Her comments come shortly after Biden mistakenly mixed up his wife and his sister during a Super Tuesday speech as IJR previously reported. Footage of more of Biden’s gaffes also previously circulated showing him calling primary election day “Super Thursday” instead of Super Tuesday.
Lara Trump later explained that she feels “nervous” every time he takes the stage and that “he forgets what state he’s in, he called it ‘Super Thursday,’ you see this consistently happen.”
Despite his gaffes, Biden was able to revitalize a campaign, that was thought to be headed for disaster, after a strong Super Tuesday showing.
According to The Associated Press, 566 delegates have been allocated to Biden, 501 to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and 61 to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), as of publication. Votes continue to be counted across the country, in order to become the nominee, a candidate must claim 1,991 delegates.
Biden also received an endorsement from Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg shortly after he dropped out of the race as IJR previously reported.
Biden has now garnered support from the past three candidates who have dropped out including Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) and former South Bend, Ind. Mayor Pete Buttigieg (D-Ind.).
