White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany indicated President Donald Trump will wait until the November election results roll in before he decides how he is going to proceed.

During her press briefing on Wednesday, a reporter asked McEnany if Trump is willing to accept the results if he does not win the upcoming election.

“The President has always said he’ll see what happens and make a determination in the aftermath. It’s the same thing he said last November,” McEnany said.

She continued, “He wants a free election, a fair election, and he wants confidence in the results of the election.”

Check out her comments below:

Reporter: "Is the President saying if he doesn't win this election that he will not accept the results unless he wins?"

McEnany mentioned Nevada’s mail-in voting system and claimed when they used it in the primaries it was a “massive failure.”

“With that being the system, the president wants to take a hard look at this and make sure that these are fair election results and not subject to fraud,” McEnany said.

Trump’s re-election campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC) filed a lawsuit against Nevada over its plan to automatically send ballots to registered voters, as IJR previously reported.

Nevada is not the only state Trump is suing.

His re-election campaign has sued New Jersey after Gov. Phil Murphy announced the state will send a ballot to each one of its voters, as IJR previously reported.

The lawsuit states Murphy claimed power belonging to the state legislature to change New Jersey’s election law and the changes he made “will violate eligible citizens’ right to vote.”

The president has received backlash for his position on mail-in voting.

Trump launched his attack on mail-in voting when he suggested delaying the November election.

During his press briefing on Aug. 12, Trump doubled down on his critique and told reporters mail-in voting is “going to be the greatest fraud in the history of elections.”

Despite Trump’s comments on mail-in voting, Trump and First Lady Melania Trump requested mail-in ballots for Florida’s primary election.
