Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has more to say about the way President Donald Trump acted during the first presidential debate on Tuesday night.

During a campaign tour in Ohio on Wednesday, Biden slammed Trump for his behavior during their heated exchange.

A reporter asked Biden what he would say to undecided voters who were “completely turned off by politics.”

“I can understand it,” Biden said. “Maybe I shouldn’t say this, but the president of the United States conducting himself the way he did, I think it was just a national embarrassment.”

He continued, “I just hope the American people and those undecided voters try to determine what each of us has as an answer for their concerns.”

Biden and Trump were not afraid to deliver scathing critiques of one another during the debate.

The former vice president took a swing at Trump when he was asked about a report by The New York Times surrounding his tax returns, as IJR previously reported.

Biden suggested he was “screwing things up” and called him “the worst president America has ever had.”

The debate garnered a wide variety of passionate reactions.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said during his appearance on “The View” on Wednesday, “Let’s just say it was not one of the great moments in American history.”

He offered his thoughts on Trump’s conduct during the debate.

“President Trump is somebody who is a pathological liar, somebody who doesn’t believe that the rules apply to him, and somebody who is a bully,” Sanders said.

Despite a chaotic performance by both candidates, Biden’s running mate Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) is not in favor of canceling the rest of the debates between Biden and Trump, as IJR previously reported.

“Joe Biden’s never going to refuse to talk to the American people,” Harris said during her appearance on CNN.
