Fox Business’ Charles Payne sent a message to progressives, telling them to “stop pimping black people.”
During an appearance on Fox & Friends, Payne discussed Rep. Pramila Jayapal’s (WA) claims about student debt cancellation on Twitter.
“Student debt cancellation is racial justice. Student debt cancellation is gender justice. Student debt cancellation is economic justice,” Jayapal tweeted.

Student debt cancellation is gender justice.
Student debt cancellation is economic justice.
Payne was asked whether the push to cancel student loan debt is just an effort to win back young Americans who are upset about gas prices and inflation.
He suggested that would be the angle of the White House but the angle of progressives is “something different.”
Payne continued, “Progressives have hijacked the pain and suffering of black Americans for everything that they want to push.”
Calling it “despicable,” Payne added, “It must stop now. I’m gonna say something very vulgar to the Progressives: stop pimping black people, okay?”
He went on to argue student debt cancellation is “nonsensical, it’s unfair and it’s stupid.”
The Fox News journalist questioned where the racial justice is that the lawmaker is talking about.
According to Payne, the provision would benefit white Americans more in her district.
“Listen, it’s an economic disaster. It’s a farce. You can’t tell me on one hand we are going to help people go to college and on the other hand tell me college doesn’t pay for it itself. You can’t have it both ways. One has to be correct,” Payne argued.
Concluding his remarks, Payne advised Jayapal to speak with her donors about “why they are not helping the people in these cities the right way. Talk about the education that leaves these kids unable to get a real competitive job.”
He added, “And don’t put them in college when A they’re not prepared for it and B you’re telling me it doesn’t work anyway.”
