Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) called her GOP primary win in Georgia “a message to the bloodsucking establishment.”
The Associated Press reported on Tuesday Greene “easily defeated” five Republican challengers.
During her victory speech, Greene said, “Sending me back to Washington will send a message to the bloodsucking establishment: It is we who will set the policy agenda for the next decade and not them,” according to the outlet.
She added, “We’re going to start speaking the truth more forcefully and more loudly than ever before.”
Greene also took the opportunity to call for President Joe Biden’s impeachment and suggested the 2020 presidential election was the result of “fraudulent electoral votes.”
Additionally, she expressed her frustration with “the cruel and illegal treatment of many nonviolent Jan. 6 protesters.”
Greene later reacted to the deadly mass shooting at the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on the same day.
“Our nation needs to take a serious look at the state of mental health today. Sometimes meds can be the problem. America is failing our youngest generations from decades of rejecting good moral values and teachings,” Greene tweeted.
She continued, “We don’t need more gun control. We need to return to God.”

Earlier this month, Georgia officials ruled Greene could remain on the ballot after a formal challenge to her candidacy was filed for her role in the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.
“The evidence in this matter is insufficient to establish that Rep. Greene … ‘engaged in insurrection or rebellion’ under the 14th Amendment to the Constitution,” Judge Charles Beaudrot wrote in the ruling.
He continued, “Therefore, the Court holds that Respondent is qualified to be a candidate for Representative for Georgia’s 14th Congressional District.”
She reacted to the ruling, saying, “ACQUITTED.”

In April, Greene testified under oath about the days leading up to the riot.
“I don’t support violence of any kind,” Greene said while responding to a question.
She claimed her words “never ever mean anything for violence.”
