Elton John was hospitalized after he fell at his residence in Nice, France.
John’s fall was confirmed to PageSix by his representative, who noted he had been released from the hospital and was “back at home.”
“We can confirm that following a slip yesterday at his home in the South of France, Elton visited the local hospital as a precautionary measure,” John’s rep told the outlet.

“Following checkups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health,” John’s rep added.
John, 76, and his husband had reportedly been spending time in the French Riviera for the summer along with their two kids.
In July, John finished his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour and he described his five decades of playing music as “the most wonderful career.”
“I’ve had the most wonderful career, beyond belief. Fifty-two years of pure joy playing music. How lucky am I to play music?” John asked the crowd.
