“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” talk show host Jimmy Kimmel has threatened to sue New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers over claims he made about Kimmel’s ties to late convicted sex trafficker Jeffery Epstein.

On Tuesday, Rodgers, 40, appeared on the “Pat McAfee Show” to discuss the imminent release of a list of famous people rumored to have been in cahoots with Epstein.

“There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, are hoping that doesn’t come out,” Rodgers alleged in a viral clip posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Hours after the clip’s release, Kimmel, 56, responded to Rodgers on X.

Dear Aasshole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any “list” other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality. “Dear Aasshole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any ‘list’ other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality,” he wrote.

Kimmel added, “Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court [Aaron Rodgers].

According to ABC News, U.S. District Judge Loretta will be releasing previously sealed court documents with over 200 names of high-profile people who were involved in Epstein’s sex trafficking ring, beginning on Jan. 1. Names allegedly include former President Bill Clinton and Britain’s Prince Andrew.

In 2019, Epstein committed suicide by hanging while awaiting trial inside a jail cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City. He was 66.

Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s accomplice and former girlfriend, 62, was sentenced to 20 years in prison after she was found guilty in 2022 of enticing, recruiting, and transporting minors as young as 14 to engage in illegal sexual activity with Epstein.

ISarah Ransome was 22 when she met Epstein and Maxwell after moving to New York to pursue her dreams of attending the Fashion Institute of Technology. She spoke to People in 2021 about being one of his victims.

“I was naïve. I was vulnerable. I was broken. I was literally the perfect victim for them,” she explained.

Speaking on Maxwell, Ransome revealed, “It was Ghislaine who was the real enforcer,” Ransome said. “She was the enforcer. She was the groomer. She controlled everything.”
