Fox News host Jesse Watters argues it is “cruel” to make former President Donald Trump sit in a courtroom for several hours a day during his trials.
During a segment of “The Five” Monday, Watters said, “The guy needs exercise. He’s usually golfing and you’re going to put a man who’s almost 80 sitting in a room like this on his butt for all that time? It’s not healthy.”
“He needs sunlight. He needs activity. He needs to be walking around. He needs action. It’s really cruel and unusual punishment,” he added.

His comment comes as Trump is facing trial in New York City for hush money he paid to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election.
The trial is expected to last six weeks.
Trump may have to miss his youngest son’s graduation due to the trial.
